Pet Of The Week

Picture
This week’s spotlight shines on none other than Rollo, our 1.5-year-old Toy Aussie who’s been bringing the joy to daycare for a whole year now—and what a year it’s been! From the moment Rollo steps through the doors, he makes sure the whole world knows he’s arrived. If you’ve heard what sounds like a pterodactyl landing in the building, don’t worry—it’s just Rollo letting out the highest screech of his life to announce his presence. And that tail? It doesn’t wag—it vibrates his whole body with excitement every time he sees one of his beloved humans. When he’s not melting our hearts with his happy greetings, you’ll find Rollo hard at work dragging his favorite toys across the daycare floor, determined to decorate the space just the way he likes it. His toy collection is always on the move, but nothing compares to the one true love of his life—his blanket. Whether it’s nap time, playtime, or just lounging, Rollo and his blanket are absolutely inseparable. Sweet, spunky, and always full of personality, Rollo is a tiny bundle of joy that keeps our days full of laughter and love. We’re so lucky to have spent the last year with him and can’t wait for many more!

Cache valley pet Hotel Customers,
After careful consideration and much research Cache Valley Pet Hotels pricing will now be restructured starting Jan. 01, 2025 in order for us to remain open and operate our business properly offering the community our services for many years to come. Our prices will conside with that    of the National Cage Free boarding and Daycare pricing structure.

We appreciate your support over the years and look forward to continue doing business with each and everyone of you. We do realize how upsetting this may be to some of our current customers but we vow to do our best to insure lower cost by keeping our base rate lower then the other facilities in our area as well as discounted daycare prices for our boarding customers.

Thanks so much for your continued business,
Cache Valley Pet Hotel Management

DISCLAIMERS

A lot of times a dogs first stay can be extremely exhausting for them due to the change of environment and daily routine. When your dog goes back home they may be more tired then usual and not want to eat for a few days. This is all perfectly normal especially if they come during our busy times. The adjustment period only lasts a few days then they should bounce back to their regular everyday behavior. The more they come the better they get used to the type of environment we have and the easier it will be on them in the future. At our facility the dogs are active from 7am to 7pm everyday, with very little downtime. This is different then a home environment as our dogs do not lay down and rest off and on throughout the day especially if they are younger and playful. However we do encourage rest throughout the day, by keeping them up for an hour during feeding to give them a break. We also put dogs up in our suites if we notice  their overwhelmed, agitated, or just plain out tired. Sometimes the change from home to boarding back to home again can be stressful and they can show it in different ways, that being stomach aches or not eating for a few days to even just nonstop sleeping. But again this is all normal behavior in the beginning. However if your dog has not improved in the next couple of days and you have any concerns about their behavior please reach out to us and let us know and we will try and get to the root of the problem.

Dogs play rough!  Often with open mouths and by jumping on each other.  In addition, when dogs are playing they rarely pay attention to their surroundings which can often cause them to crash into things.  After a long day of play, your dog will come home happy and exhausted...but they may pick up some scrapes and scratches too!  Our staff do their best to keep an eye on everyone, but sometimes scuffles happen.  If we notice your dog is hurt, we will be sure to treat any minor injuries as needed.  Anything more serious will result in an immediate phone call.  We want your dog's stay to be a safe one!  Even if it means protecting them from themselves.  Your pet's safety is our number one concern, and our facility has been designed with that in mind.  From fully enclosed outside areas, heating and air-conditioning year round, double doors to prevent escapes and staff that have been well trained on how to prevent and breakup any altercations.  Let your pup come play and get some energy out!
